There’s no need to be bored this October half-term with Urban Events – FREE fun-filled holiday activities – in Burgess Hill. Mid Sussex District Council and New River are co-funding an exciting line-up of events for 8-16 year-olds at the Martlets Marquee. Booking only needed for the spray painting and skateboarding. Saturday October 26: Laser Tag – family fun in an inflatable laser tag arena (families/6+). 11am until 3pm Sunday October 27: Learn how to become a superstar DJ and enjoy a silent disco in an inflatable night club (families/ages 8-16). 11am until 3pm. Monday October 28 and Tuesday October 29: Skateboarding skills – become a skater for the day and learn the basics to get you on your way (ages 8-16 yrs). Don’t forget to book on the link above! 11am until 3pm. Wednesday October 30: Spray painting workshops (ages 8-16 yrs), 10am until 4pm. Only 10 places per session so booking is needed.Create your own artwork in the form of a tote bag or vinyl record design. Urban Events is being co-funded by Mid Sussex District Council and New River to mark their commitment to a new partnership being progressed to redevelop Burgess Hill town centre.
