The Rotary Club are organising a Christmas Shoebox Collection for Ukraine’s orphans, and displaced children due to the current invasion and for 2nd generation child survivors of the Chernobyl disaster. – A lorry will deliver early October 2026 to Ukraine. If you can help, please provide a gift wrapped shoebox (secured with a rubber band) labelled:- boy or girl aged :- 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-16yrs . With a suggested £2 coin to go towards transport costs. Monetary donations or contents from the suggested list, are most gratefully received:- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, deodorant, flannels, hats, scarves, gloves, small toys, hair accessories, stationery, pens/pencils, socks, personal care items, wrapped sweets.
